Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism representative Kelly Nygaard will stop by the KDHL Studio for today's AM Minnesota program.  The show begins 9:30 a.m.  I will ask Kelly how the Downtown Business Challenge is going.  You might recall last year there were several submissions and even businesses that didn't win the boost to start up a business opened doors to new businesses.

The membership appreciation summer picnic will include music, food and fun next Thursday, May 24 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce, 530 Wilson Avenue.  Chamber CEO/President Nort Johnson says, "The event is a great networking event as we say thank you to our members for a great year!"

There will be games , music and food and the chamber invites members to bring guests and enjoy.  There has already been a call in to Mother Nature for a grand day for a picnic.

If you can't tune in 9:30 a.m. download the FREE KDHL app and simply tap the app when you want to listen to and watch the show.  The program is typically uploaded to our website by mid-afternoon the day of the show.

Tomorrow Faribault Area Senior Center Executive Director Mona Kaiser gives us a construction update.
