The guys from Florida Georgia Line gave one special fan a memory she’ll never forget recently when they made a personal phone call to Angel, who has been battling cancer.

The young woman was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma in 2013 during her sophomore year of high school. Though she was briefly declared cancer-free, she is now fighting for her life.

A radio station in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where Angel lives, had been in touch with her since 2014, and they found out that her condition was worsening, so they called on all of their fans and friends to see if they could get Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard to reach out to Angel. She had mentioned before that she loved the duo. Sure enough, FGL came through and made one fan’s dream come true.

“We just wanna say we’re thinking about you and we wish you were here with us tonight; we’re in Canada,” Kelley says via speakerphone, captured in the video above. “Just stay strong and stay positive — come see us at a show and get well. You’re amazing, so just know that."

The sweet message was well received by both Angel and her mother, Kim, who thanked the guys profusely for taking the time to call. Fans can help Angel’s family by checking out their Facebook page, Angel’s Warriors.

Florida Georgia Line are currently on their Dig Your Roots Tour with Kane Brown and recently released a dramatic new video for “May We All,” featuring Tim McGraw.
