The famous Christmas in Rockefeller tree lighting ceremony took place on Wednesday night (Nov. 30), marking the official kickoff to Christmas. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood lent their voices on the holiday classic "Baby, It's Cold Outside" to help celebrate the annual event.

Hand-in-hand, the pair took focus to sing the flirty tune. Brooks was clad in a navy suit and cowboy hat that complemented his bride, who took the stage in a simple dress and burgundy overcoat. The couple took turns delivering lines, looking adorable and merry while doing so. They even shared a sweet kiss!

This year's tree lighting ceremony was broadcast for TV and marked the 84th anniversary of the event. Fellow country star Dolly Parton was also present to entertain during the evening in conjunction with lighting the 94-foot-tall tree, which was decorated with over 50,000 multi-colored Christmas lights.

Brooks and Yearwood were the perfect couple to help commemorate the occasion, as the pair recently released a holiday duet record, Christmas Together.

“[Yearwood]’s got three or four singles, I’ve got three or four singles, and we have three or four duets on it,” Brooks says of the project. “Even on the ones that are mine, she’s still doing background harmony stuff like we always have our entire career.”

The album features songs including “Ugly Christmas Sweater,” “Merry Christmas Means I Love You” and “What I’m Thankful For,” which features James Taylor.
