The Owatonna High School wrestlers placed first at the Chanhassen Tournament with four individual champions. Owatonna's girls hockey team topped Northfield 2-1 at Four Seasons.

The Owatonna wrestlers have entered a portion of their schedule that features a number of weekends of individual tournaments. OHS took first in Chanhassen on Saturday, December 12. Peyton Robb, Cade King, Brandon Moen and Griffin Thorn captured titles. The Huskies go to the Minnesota Christmas Tournament in Rochester December 18-19. They travel to Fargo for the Rumble on the Red over the holiday break.

Owatonna's girls hockey team gave up an early goal to Northfield on Saturday night at Four Seasons Centre, but controlled most of the play after that on the way to a key 2-1 victory. It was the only game between the section and conference rivals this season. Meghan Rethemeier and Margo Achterkirch scored Owatonna's goals. The No. 18-ranked Huskies play at South St. Paul on Saturday, December 19, on KRFO AM 1390.
