Celebrate August Peach Month. Eat peaches, peach pie, have a peach preserves and peanut butter sandwich. Tasty.

If someone asks you how is it going in some shape or form, answer with "Peachy," or "What a peach of a day."

This is also the month to go on a picnic being National Picnic Month. Good way to celebrate anything or a just because, which it is today.

Yes, it is Just Because Day. So, if you do something out of the ordinary it works to say, "Just Because Day." That could probably work for any of my Lisa's Logic. But I guess only today.

On Saturday, it is More Herbs, Less Salt Day. Spruce up that pork chop, potato or salad with some herbs.

Aug. 30, 1797, Mary Wollenstone Shelley was born. She is the author of "Frankenstein," and that gives us Frankenstein Day. Well, it seems Frankenstein is a busy monster. The last Friday in October is Frankenstein Friday and the 29th of October is National Frankenstein Day. Wouldn't that be cool to be cool to be celebrated three days and he doesn't even know it. Or maybe he does.

The sun is shining above ... Think Happy Thoughts.
