Reschedule dates have been announced for several of the events postponed Thursday, January 11 due to winter weather and the subsequent school closings across southern Minnesota. Owatonna, which didn't close school, had five varsity sports scheduled.

The Huskies' girls' hockey game against Rochester Mayo will be made up right away on Friday, January 12 at 7PM at the Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna. Mayo is tied for the lead in the Big Nine Conference standings with Owatonna in third place, just two points behind. The Huskies lost in overtime to the Spartans during the Schwan Cup tournament, a game which doesn't count in the league standings.

Owatonna's boys' swimming and diving meet against Austin is reset for Tuesday, January 16 at the Owatonna Middle School pool at 6PM. The Huskies' boys' hockey game at Mayo is rescheduled for February 5.

Wrestling and gymnastics reschedule dates are still to be announced. The No. 8AAA wrestlers were supposed to host Albert Lea in the annual showdown for the Big Nine title. The No. 4AA gymnasts were scheduled to host Austin Thursday.

Blooming Prairie girls' basketball against Kingsland is switched to February 15. Triton boys' and girls' basketball against Stewartville is rescheduled for February 12.
