Owatonna Foundation Week will be observed October 10-16. It will actually kick off this Friday, October 7, when they will take part in a t-shirt toss during halftime of the Owatonna versus Rochester Mayo football game.

On Wednesday, October 12, the Foundation will host their Legacy Luncheon to honor donors who have included the Owatonna Foundation as part of their estate plan or made a contribution through the Living Legacy program. The keynote speaker will be Gerald Deetz, founder of Budget Mart. This year's Spirit of the Community Award will be presented to the Kottke family.

Thursday, October 13, the first Breakfast for Professionals will take place at the Owatonna Arts Center.

Also Thursday, October 13, the public is invited to the Wine and Craft Beer tasting at the Owatonna Holiday Inn. Tickets are $15 in advance at the Foundation office, Cashwise Liquor, Board Trustee or Kottke Jewelers.

Saturday, October 15, the Foundation office will be open from 8AM to noon at 108 West Park Square. New this year is the Mystery Picture scavenger hunt. Go to the Owatonna Foundation website to get a copy of the pictures you'll need to identify to win prizes. They are pictures of Owatonna Foundation funded projects. You may also pick up a form at Kottke Jewelers, Tri M Graphics or the Foundation office. The first 50 people to turn in their forms on Saturday will receive a value basket coupon from Culvers with a $10 value.

To date, the Foundation is responsible for 259 projects and more than $11.75 million given to fund theses projects.
