With a 13-4 win at Rochester Mayo on Monday the Huskies girls lacrosse team clinched at least a share of their first Big Nine title. They can win it outright at Mankato on Tuesday.

Owatonna improved to 7-0 in the conference, good for a three-game lead over Mayo with three games to play. Tuesday at 5:45 OHS plays at Mankato at Dakota Meadows Middle School. Owatonna beat Mankato 16-2 earlier this season.

OHS baseball lost to No. 20 Eden Prairie at Dartt's Park on Monday. The Huskies go to Austin on Tuesday, looking to stay on track for a conference title.

Huskies softball won a 12-7 makeup game at Rochester JM. Owatonna scored eight in the first inning. Alexa Sommers got the pitching victory. OHS hosts Austin at 5PM Tuesday in their home finale and will honor their seniors.

Owatonna girls golf finished second in Rochester on Monday. Team scores were Rochester Mayo 344, Owatonna 368, Albert Lea 374 and Austin 404. Maddie Zulk led OHS with 90. The meet was held at Eastwood. The girls play a makeup at The Jewel in Lake City on Wednesday.

The OHS boys golfers finished fourth in Austin. Albert Lea was first with 328, Austin carded a 341, Mayo came in at 354 and OHS shot 355.

Blooming Prairie's golfers played in a conference meet at Lakeside in Waseca on Monday. Taylor Christianson's 97 was good enough for third. Tommy Braaten fired a 75 to finish second with teammate Jon Hatch third with 78. The Gopher Conference meet will be at Lakeside later this week.
