River Bend Nature Center in Faribault has a number of activities planned for February. On Wednesday, February 14 you're invited to join a naturalist and help with the restoration efforts at River Bend. From 2-4PM volunteers will be heading out to help remove buckthorn.

Home school children in K-6th grade are invited out on Monday, February 19 for a program based on Olympic themed activities. It will run 2-3:30PM. You need to get registered by February 16 for this class.

The monthly OWLS Lunch and Learn program will be Wednesday, February 21 from 12-2PM. The soup/salad luncheon is $12 or $10 if you're a member. The guest speaker will be Environmental Educator Leah Weston who will share creative ways to reuse a variety of items and up-cycle them into gifts.

Saturday, February 24 is the date for an animal meet and greet with the River Bend animal ambassadors. Hours will be 10-11AM

Tuesday, February 27 is the date of the monthly Nature Book Club meeting. It runs 7-8PM. This is a free program.
