Scott Roemhildt has been named Regional Director for the DNR's Southern Region. This area covers 32 counties stretching from Mower County to Big Stone County to the northwest. The region is headquartered in New Ulm.

Roemhildt is a native of Waseca County and has been with the DNR since 2011. He has held positions with Pheasants Forever, AgStar Financial and Hubbard Milling. He currently serves as and will continue to serve as coordinator of the DNR's Walk-In Access program.

Scott is a familiar voice on KRFO having been a guest for a number of years on AM 1390's Talk of the Town as he has served as one of the co-chairs for the Waseca Sleigh and Cutter Festival. His parents reside in Owatonna.

Roemhildt replaces Dennis Frederickson who retired earlier this month.
