Members of the Stanton Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol were guests on today's KDHL AM MInnesota program at Professional Pride Realty in Northfield.  Some adult leaders organize activities and kids aged 12 to 18 do the bulk of the work.  The kids get to fly single engine airplanes and gliders as part of their learning experiences.  Recently they got to tour the Delta Maintenance Facility in Minneapolis.

Squadron Commander, 1st Lt. Jeff Rezac, 2nd Lt. Andy Rezac and Aerospace Education Officer Keith Kluzak are adult leaders of the program and four members of the 27 member Stanton Civil Air Patrol Squadron were on the radio show.  Chief Master Sgt. Brady Rezac, Chief Master Sgt. Laura Rezac, Airman 1st Class Braeden Kluzak and Chief Master Sgt. William Wagner range in age from 13 to 15.

The students talked about all the activities they are involved in and the training they receive in leadership and flying skills.  The training includes 5 flights in a single engine plane and 5 glider flights and they get to fly the planes
