This was awesome to see. Yesterday morning during the Minnesota Wild's morning skate, Fox 9's cameras were rolling and caught the flag bearer, 12-year-old Landon Uthke of Albert Lea, take the ice with the team, and net two goals.

It was all apart of the Minnesota Wild's Hockey Is For Everyone night last night at the Xcel Energy Center in St Paul. Check out Landon's goal scoring!

According to a Minnesota Wild media release, "Hockey is for Everyone Awareness Night, a night focused on promoting and creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all who cherish this great game." Several groups were also honored during the Wild's home game last night against the Nashville Predators, a game in which the Wild won 3-1.

The groups that were honored at the game were: DinoMights, Rink Rats, Disabled Hockey, Minnesota Whitecaps, Hendrickson Foundation, Special Olympics, and the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM).

Landon, according to the Albert Lea Tribune, "had his left leg was amputated above the knee in October of 2011, after a lawn tractor accident injured the then-3-year-old at their Hollandale home."
