2 New Flights Out of Rochester Just Announced By Sun Country
Escape Rochester, Minnesota On Two New Flights From Sun Country Airlines
As soon as the snow started flying today, I hopped on the 'ol internet and searched "where can I fly to that is warm". Before I even heard about the new flights leaving from Rochester, I found a flight to one of my happy places, California, for just $74. Yes, $74. That flight is from MSP but starting December 15th, I can hop on a plane from Rochester to MSP and catch my flight to sunny California without needing to find a van to take me up to the Twin Cities or a place to park my car.
Yes, a huge announcement today from Sun Country Airlines brought some sunshine to myself and others in the Rochester community today. Starting December 15th, 2022, Sun Country Airlines is expanding the partnership it has with Landline and adding two new flights that will connect the Rochester International Airport (RST) to the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.

According to the press release, the flights from Rochester, Minnesota to the MSP airport will depart from Rochester at 4:30 am and 12:15 pm daily starting December 15th, 2022. Flights from MSP to Rochester will depart from MSP at 4:35 pm and 10:30 pm daily.

I know quite a few Minnesotans that are a bit antsy and ready to leave the cold, myself included. And if you are wanting to escape for a bit, book your flight out of Rochester because up until May 31st, 2023, the cost of the Landline segment will be waived.
