The Minnesota State Fair just announced its complete grandstand line-up for 2021 and it includes another big country star.

After having to cancel last year's fair due to (stop me if you've heard this already... the pandemic!), the crew up in Falcon Heights at the Minnesota State Fair offices have been working overtime to make sure everything is good to go for this year.

The State Fair is back in 2021-- and so is its grandstand line-up

And, the Great Minnesota Get-Back-Together (as they're calling it this year) has just announced its full line-up of nightly entertainment in the grandstand. Normally, we hear who's going to play at the fair MUCH earlier in the year, but of course, earlier this year, we weren't even sure there would BE a fair-- or what it might look like.

Well, now that we know it'll be like the good 'ol fair we're all used to (thanks, vaccines!) the fair has just released who'll be playing on the remaining empty dates. Some acts that were scheduled for 2020 are back (though some are now playing on different days) and there are some new acts as well.

And there's a BIG country name that was just added

Like Maren Morris! According to a Wednesday news release from the fair, she'll be playing in the grandstand on Friday, August 27th. Tickets are set to go on sale on Wednesday, July 21st to see one of country music's biggest hitmakers these days. (There's also an opening act 'special guest' to be named later.)

She joins some other big names that had already been announced

Other country acts playing in the grandstand at the Minnesota State Fair this year include Miranda Lambert, whose show from 2020 has been rescheduled for opening night of the fair this year, Thursday, August 26th. She'll be joined by opening act, Lindsay Ell. Lindsay, of course, will be RIGHT HERE IN ROCHESTER on Sunday (July 11th) to kick off this year's Down By the Riverside Concert Series too.

Then, there's Tim McGraw, who'll be joined by opening act, Midland (who put on a GREAT show-- I saw them when they opened for Little Big Town at Target Center in April of 2018 and they were fantastic!) in the grandstand on Wednesday, September 1st.

Overall, that's a pretty solid line-up of some big country names, all set to visit the Land of 10,000 Lakes at the state fair this year. You can check the FULL 2021 Minnesota State Fair Grandstand Line-Up HERE.

Speaking of country stars playing the Minnesota State Fair, do you remember when Garth Brooks appeared in the grandstand? It was JUST as his massive hit, Friends in Low Places, was released, back in 1991. He's done alright for himself since then! In fact, keep scrolling to get a sneak peek at the mansion he shares with his wife, Tricia Yearwood!
