The 2020 CMA Awards are set for Nov. 11, and the anticipation is building. From the winners and the losers to the performances and the monologues, Country Music's Biggest Night is always entertaining -- including the outfits that country stars choose to wear to the big event.

While there are some artists who can do no wrong (we're looking at you, Faith Hill!) and others who have "classy" as their middle name, there are several country stars who like to live on the wild side. Throughout the years, the CMA Awards red carpet has seen the debut of some incredibly risque outfits -- who can forget Reba McEntire's jaw-droppingly low-cut dress in 1993? -- and there have also been some flat-out strange ensembles.

Check out the photo gallery above to see some of the wildest and wackiest CMA Awards outfits from past years. Fashion risks like some of the outfits in the gallery above may land artists on "Worst Dressed" lists across the internet, but the most cringe-worthy outfits at awards shows are also the most talked about.

The 2020 CMA Awards are scheduled to take place on Nov. 11 and will air live from Nashville on ABC beginning at 8PM ET. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the show will be hosted at Nashville's Music City Center, not Bridgestone Arena as is customary, and there will be no live audience.

The Boot will be staying up late covering the most buzzed-about winners, fashion and moments at the 2020 CMA Awards. Readers can watch along with us by checking back to TheBoot.com for the latest CMAs headlines, liking The Boot on Facebook and following The Boot on Twitter.
