A Few Severe Storms Possible Later Today in Southern Minnesota

Scattered thunderstorms are expected later today as a cold front moves through. A couple storms could become severe with large hail and damaging winds.

Timing for any strong to severe thunderstorms would be late in the afternoon into early this evening.

Hail up to 1 inch in diameter and damaging wind gusts to 60 mph will be the primary threats.
