The National Weather Service says for southern Minnesota, things start out with a wind advisory, Including the cities of Elk River, Cambridge, Monticello, Minneapolis, Blaine, St Paul, Stillwater, Hutchinson, Gaylord, Chaska, Shakopee, Hastings, New Ulm, St Peter, Le Sueur, Faribault, Red Wing, St James, Mankato, Waseca, Owatonna, Fairmont, Blue Earth, and Albert Lea. The advisory is in effect from 12pm Monday to 4am Tuesday. This is a change from the Sunday post.

* TIMING...Strong northwest winds will develop after 3 PM Monday
and continue through midnight.

* WINDS...Northwest wind 25 to 35 mph with gusts 45 to 50 mph
possible.

* IMPACTS...Travel may be hazardous, especially for high profile
vehicles. Lightweight unsecured objects may be blown around.
