Aces win opener at state

Owatonna Aces amateur baseball opened the state tournament with a 2-1 win over New Munich Saturday night. The Aces will play Lastrup next Saturday at 5:30 in Jordan.

Brandon Wolf pitched a complete game victory in a 2-1 win for the Aces over New Munich in the Class C State Baseball Tournament at Jordan Saturday night. Owatonna scored a run on a passed ball. The other run crossed on an overthrow of second base on a steal.

Owatonna's game was at the Mini-Met in Jordan. They will also play their second game there on Saturday August 23.

Brandon Wolf tossed the complete game in the Aces victory Saturday 2-1 over New Munich.
