The National Weather Service says confidence is increasing in multiple days of accumulating snow for the end of our week.

A large, slow-moving storm system is expected to bring chances for snow across southern Minnesota, starting as early as Wednesday, lasting into Friday. The heaviest snowfall would likely come late Thursday and Friday.

With the storm still several days away, forecast models still have some disagreement in terms of snowfall locations and amounts -- so stay tuned as this will become clearer as we roll through the week.

There's also the possibility of a second winter storm later in the weekend, potentially impacting our area on Sunday. Even further out than the first storm, there's even more uncertainty regarding the possibilities with this one.
