Not all heroes wear capes. Most of them wear military uniforms and live far away from home. These men and women sacrifice so much to make sure you and I are safe each and every day. I come from a family that has a lot of vets and active military folks in it. That is why Veterans Day is so important to me. It's the time to let those folks know that we support them and respect the life they live.

Monday, November 11 is Veterans day and a lot of places in Southeastern Minnesota are offering deals for Veterans and active-duty military personal. Here is a list of just a few places I have come across.

  • Amazon- Offering $40 off a year prime membership
  • Applebee's - They are offering a free meal to all veterans and active military members from a special menu.
  • Cabela's- Veterans and Military personal get 5% off
  • Chipotle- On Monday they are offering buy one get one free to all veterans and active military members.
