There was volleyball and now state football and somehow the time has been found for Blooming Prairie High School to present "The Wizard of Oz"  Opening night is Thursday at 6:30PM with a dinner theater performance on Friday night starting at 6PM.. The play will follow at 7PM. The final performance will be Sunday afternoon November 11 at 4PM.

General admission to all three performances will be available at the door. Dinner theater tickets are $25 and need to be purchased by Thursday at the High School office. Those who wish to attend just the play on Friday may do so and tickets will be on sale at the door.

Attendees might notice something different as there is a jitterbug dance scene. This was actually in the original version but cut out in the Hollywood presentation. The roles of the munchkins will be played by some high schooler's and also some 7th and 8th graders.

Normally there is a cast of around 30 but this play has a cast of close to 60.
