Brand New Caribou Coffee Opening Soon in Rochester

Self-proclaimed coffee queen here with some awesome news for Rochester, Minnesota. I just heard when the newest coffee shop in the Med City will be opening!

Opening Date Announced for Newest Coffee Shop in Rochester, Minnesota

I know a ton of high school kids who are anxiously awaiting for opening day for the newest coffee shop in Rochester. Last year, we heard the news that Caribou Coffee was planning to open one of their cute, blue coffee shops at 2190 Wheelock Drive NE by the new Kwik Trip.

According to Caribou Coffee's website, the new Caribou Coffee will be a drive-thru and walk-up only and will be located at 2190 Wheelock Drive NE in Rochester. (Get directions here.)

Well, it is almost time to enjoy some delicious coffee at the new spot because according to KTTC, opening day is Wednesday, March 29th, 2023. Sounds like their grand opening will take place on March 31st and although they won't have free coffee, they will have some deals that day.

Did You Know Rochester Already Has One Of These Adorable Coffee Shops Open?

Rochester is a pretty big town and although we don't seem to talk about this openly, we tend to get stuck in our quadrants. And if you don't venture into SE Rochester often, you may not know that Rochester already has an adorable cabin-like coffee shop. It's in the same parking lot as Planet Fitness and Cub Foods and below are a few photos of its super cute location.

Newest and Cutest Coffee Shop in Rochester had quite the transformation!

I've been waiting pretty much forever for the new Caribou Cabin to open up in Rochester, Minnesota. We first heard that Caribou was going to be building this adorable coffee shop by Cub Foods way back in May of 2020. So, yeah, it's been a test of our patience. I've been slowly watching the progress take shape and was super excited to pull up and grab a cup of coffee on their opening day. Yes, as of November 30th, 2021, the Caribou Cabin is finally open!
