If you're wondering exactly how up-and-coming singer-songwriter Brandy Clark feels about love, her latest single should clear up any confusion. Clark has selected "Love Can Go to Hell" as the second single from her June release, Big Day in a Small Town.

Written by Clark and Scott Stepakoff, "Love Can Go to Hell" examines the numerous ways that a relationship can fall apart or, as in the song, "go to hell."

"[It's] one of my favorite songs on the record, and it didn't start out that way. I loved the song, but what it became is largely in part to [producer] Jay [Joyce]'s production," explains Clark in a YouTube video exploring the story behind the song. "It was way more of a ballad, and he really brought an energy to it that neither Scott nor I envisioned. That song, more than any other song on the record, blows my mind with what [Joyce] brought to this."

"Love Can Go To Hell" is the sixth track from Big Day in a Small Town. As a single release, it follows "Girl Next Door," Clark's first single from her sophomore album, and readers can press play below to hear the track.

Big Day in a Small Town is available for download on iTunes.
