This Flood Warning includes Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Rice, Steele, Waseca and

Numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue across southern Minnesota this evening into overnight. This additional rainfall, coupled with saturated soils and very high levels on area streams and rivers, will lead to a continued threat of flooding into tonight. Both overland flooding and local stream/river flooding are expected.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
