BREAKING: Kirk Cousins Signs 4-Year Deal with Atlanta Falcons
Kirk Cousins is leaving the Minnesota Vikings behind, signing a 4-year $180 million dollar deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
The deal reportedly includes a $50 million signing bonus, and $90 million in guaranteed money over the next two years -- with another $10 million guaranteed in 2026, making an amazing $100 million of the Cousins deal guaranteed.
The Minnesota Vikings commented by saying,
After significant and positive dialogue with Kirk and his representatives, we were unable to reach agreement on a contract that fits the short and long-term visions for both Kirk and the Minnesota Vikings.

The move means the Vikings will have a new starting quarterback since 2018. Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall are the only quarterbacks currently under contract in Minnesota.
The Vikings could add a veteran quarterback of their own through free agency, or pick one up in next month's NFL Draft (or both).
