Albany defeated Waseca 70-63 Saturday to capture the Class 2-A boys basketball state championship. The 32-0 Huskies have won 2 of the last 3 Class 2-A State Championships.
Albany held off Caledonia 59-54 Friday night at Williams Arena to advance to the Class 2-A State Tournament Championship game. Albany sprinted out to a 25-5 lead and held a 30-19 halftime advantage.
