While the Blooming Prairie Education Foundation had to cancel their annual in-person auction, they have posted a number of items on their Facebook page to big on. A fair number of them are related to the state football championship won by the Awesome Blossoms in November.

Among the state championship related items are an autographed helmet, framed photos, a quilt, highlight booklets, Gabe Hagen-signed football gloves, and a badge-shaped metal artwork creation donated by Cybex and Chase Klener.

Overall, about 50 items deemed to be "time sensitive" are posted for the online auction. Other donated items will be held on to for the next live auction next March. In announcing the online auction Becky Noble stated, "Remember that 100% of the proceeds go right back to the schools to help give the kids of this community a better education! If there is nothing that you would like to bid on, you can donate to items that are needed for the next year."

Other auction items include a corn hole with dazzling artwork on the boards, an impressive Connect 4 yard game, golf packages, baskets, and classroom art projects. You can also get a collection of Awesome Blossom apparel that comes with the on-air play-by-play of all the BP football games in addition to the playoff basketball games from this winter, as called by BP alum Jason Iacovino.

Some items have generated a "bidding war" according to an entry on the Facebook page Sunday, which stated, "It appears that our first couple days of bidding have gone well!! BUT we need to raise those bids a little higher! A few “bidding wars” have been started and it’s fun to see the friendly competition for such a great cause! Please remember to check back often and BID BID BID! Thanks for your support!"

Bidding continues through Sunday, June 28. Raffle ticket drawings will occur on Saturday, June 27. Contact Noble if you need a ticket at 507-583-2073.
