
Chatfield Man Among 18 Injured in Storm Related Crashes
Chatfield, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Chatfield man was brought to St. Mary’s hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash early this morning. The State Patrol says 52-year-old Glenn Nichols was driving north on Highway 52 when he lost control on the slippery roadway and crashed into a guardrail.
The crash was reported around 3:15 a.m. about 2 miles north of Chatfield.
The latest reports from the State Patrol indicates there have been just over 300 traffic crashes reported statewide since 9:45 last night. In addition, the State Patrol has responded to over 450 vehicle spin-outs and jackknifed semi-truck as of 11:30 this morning. 18 injuries have been reported as a result of the crashes, but so far, there have been no reports of serious injuries or fatalities.
