What do you get when you cross an orange cheetah and a Southern Colonel? A sandwich that has some raising their eyebrows. I guess they both are 'finger-licking' good, one coats your fingers in orange dust, and the other has a secret blend of herbs and spices. KFC has rolled out as a trial a Cheetos Sandwich in select markets. Regretfully not here though.

KFC is testing a new Cheetos Sandwich in select restaurants in the Greensboro, North Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina; Roanoke, Virginia; Richmond, Virginia; and Greenville, Georgia, areas.

The new menu item is a hand-breaded Extra Crispy chicken filet with a special Cheetos-based sauce that is served on a toasted bun with mayo and a layer of whole Cheetos according to the USA Today. The sandwich will be available until March 24 or as long as supplies last, according to the company.

This isn't the first time Cheetos has partnered with a major fast-food company. In 2016, Burger King launched their Cheetos combination of Mac n' Cheetos, deep-fried sticks of macaroni and cheese with a crunchy Cheetos-flavored breading, and then brought them back in Flamin' Hot Mac n' Cheetos form in 2017.

So are you in if they come to the Midwest after the trial-run out East?
