The Scott County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a one vehicle crash in the 13800 block of Zumbro Avenue in Jackson Township, on the western edge of Shakopee on Thursday afternoon.

Update: There were 5 victims, one dead at the scene a 16 year old boy, two others with critical injuries and 2 with serious injuries.The person killed was identified as  Ja'Mason Moffett. He was a student at Shakopee High School. The other victims were identified as 17-year-old Sheikhnur Siad Jimale of Shakopee, whoi is in critical condition at the Hennepin County Medical Center. Hannah Ludmilia Chance, 17 of Shakopee, is also in critical condition at HCMC, according to a family member.

Khalil Malik Watson, 20 of Burnsville, was treated and released at St. Francis Regional Medical Center.

The Scott County Sheriff's office said in their release the vehicle was traveling southbound on the gravel road, when it left the road, hit a field approach driveway and began to roll.

The person driving the vehicle who was treated and released from St. Francis Medical Center and whether any drugs or alcohol was involved has not yet been released. The investigation is on-going.

A Facebook post from the Shakopee school district said counselors would be available at the high school Friday to speak with students and staff members who needed support.
