The Small Business Administration announces that citizens and businesses affected by the severe weather and flooding from June 27-July7 my now apply for low-interest loans from the SBA. This applies to Dodge, Goodhue, Mower, Olmsted, Rice and Steele Counties.

A Disaster Loan Outreach Center has been set up to answer questions and to help you fill out necessary paper work. The center will be in the Kasson City Hall and will open on Saturday, August 3 at 10am. Hours will be Monday-Friday from 9-6pm and Saturdays 10-2pm. The center will close on Wednesday, August 14 at 5pm.

Loans up to $200,000 are available to homeowners to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate. Homeowners and rents are eligible for loans up to $40,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed person property.
