Ellendale Days will be observed this weekend with a number of new attractions. The first new addition takes place Thursday, June 22, at 6PM with the Walk for Alzheimer's. It starts at the liquor store and covers two and a half miles. You can get more information or register by calling Allison at (507) 383-6254.

Other attractions include the Family Movie Night starting at 7PM on Friday. The Dan Stursa Band will be performing behind the bar starting at 8PM.

Some of the happenings on Saturday include the car show opening at 8AM at the bus garage. There will be a history tour of Ellendale starting at 12PM. The parade is set to start at 4PM Saturday. I'd say the Ellendale parade ranks way up there as far as the percentage of entries that toss candy. Fill up pockets and satisfy that sweet tooth. The pork chop supper begins at 5PM at the Community Center followed by dances.

On Sunday there will be a Community Church Service at 10AM.
