Faribault Football at Home, Bethlehem Academy Hosts in Northfield
The Faribault Falcons football team has one win on their season and will be playing at Bruce Smith Field to start the playoffs Tuesday. The Section 1 Class 4A bracket has Albert Lea traveling to Faribault despite having one more win than the Falcons. Faribault did defeated the Tigers 28-24 in Albert Lea earlier this year.
Faribault Bethlehem Academy received the #4 seed in their section. They are scheduled to host New Ulm Cathedral. BA Athletic Director Ed Friesen says the Cardinals will be the home team at Northfield High School Tuesday night.
POWER 96 Radio will be broadcasting the game beginning 6:45 p.m. The featured game on KDHL 920 AM Tuesday will be Kenyon-Wanamingo at Chatfield.
As expected Winona is the top seed in Section 1AAAA, Byron the #2 seed. They receive byes. #3 Byron will have winless Red Wing come to their field while Faribault hosts Albert Lea.
