The Faribault Area Hospice Foundation Light Up A Life outdoor tree lighting ceremony will happen this year.  Last year COVID prompted a decision to hold the event virtually.

The event will be available live on KDHL Radio, 920 AM, 97.9 FM and worldwide on the KDHL website.  Best way to access the website is to download the FREE KDHL app.

Rick Miller, Operations Director for Allina Faribault and Owatonna hospitals told KDHL AM Minnesota listeners today they are planning on providing a live stream of the event possibly on their YouTube channel.

We will get a copy of the video of the tree lighting cremony and post it on our website for you to enjoy throughout the holiday season.

The tree lighting ceremony will be Monday, December 6, 2021 by the Allina District One Hospital Surgery Center beginning 7:00 p.m.  Refreshments will be served outdoors weather permitting.

The donation cards for a bulb on the tree are available at Faribault banks and at the District One Hospital lobby.

Your gift of $5 lights up a bulb on the hospice memory tree in honor of your friend or loved one.

Names are displayed in the Light Up A Life memorial book displayed in the Faribault hospital lobby.  Donations received by December 31 will be included in the memorial book.

Proceeds benefit Hospice patients and families in the Faribault area.  Contributions are tax deductible
