The Minnesota State Highway Patrol reports a 38 year old Faribault woman was injured in a single vehicle crash.  The call came in at 9:24 a.m.

Location was the southbound lanes of I-35 at Milepost 73 in Webster Township, Rice County.

The State Patrol report states more information will be released at 11:00 tonight concerning the Faribault woman driving a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country Van.

The description simplys states southbound vehicle on I-35, "left the roadway and crashed into median cables."

Rice County Sheriff, Lonsdale Fire, North Ambulance were all dispatched to the scene.

The report did not indicate the severity of the injuries.

The State Patrol also reports an injury accident occurred 1:35 p.m. Sunday in the northbound lanes of I-35 at milepost 34 in Somerset Township, Steele County.

This also involved one vehicle according to the State Patrol report operated by Barbara Lee Klingman, 74, of Wichita, Kansas.

The northbound vehicle left the roadway into the median and struck the cable guardrail.

Klingman was transported to the Owatonna Hospital for treatment of her non-life threatening injuries according to the State Patrol report.

The report also states she as wearing her seat belt and airbag did deploy.

Steele County Sheriff's Department, Ellendale Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance all responded along with the Minnesota State Patrol.
