
Flood Watch Issued for Parts of Southern Minnesota
The National Weather Service has expanded and extended a Flood Watch, now in effect until 7:00 am Wednesday morning for portions of southern Minnesota.
Included in this Flood Watch are Dakota, Goodhue, Le Sueur, Rice, Scott (+more) counties in southern Minnesota, including the entire Twin Cities metro.
Additional multiple rounds of thunderstorms today through Wednesday night could lead to heavy rainfall totals and flash flooding. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Additionally, severe storms and excessive rainfall will be possible across southern Minnesota on Tuesday,
Monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
