If you can't get enough of Blake Shelton on The Voice, here are four drive-in theaters in Minnesota that will be showing his concert later this month.

The summer of 2020 will down as the Summer Where (Just About) Everything Was Cancelled, right? I mean, just about every concert, live event and festival from Winstock to the Minnesota State Fair has said that, due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, they're taking this year off.

But then Garth Brooks had the idea to do a special concert that played at over 300 drive-in theaters around the country back in June. (Because, as it turns out, you can observe proper social-distancing pretty easily when you're in your own car-- even if you're in a parking lot with several hundred other vehicles.) It apparently went over so well, organizers are doing it again but this time with Blake Shelton.

Blake will be headlining a special concert set to be shown at hundreds of drive-in theatres across the U.S. of A. on Saturday, July 25th. He'll be joined by longtime girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, as well as Trace Adkins (who, of course, played one of the last lives shows here in Rochester back in February before the coronavirus shut everything down.)

According to Encore Drive-In Nights, tickets for Blake's show go on sale Tuesday, July 14th at 12 p.m. They'll run you $114.99 per vehicle for up to 6 people. (Click HERE to buy tickets.) And, there are four locations here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes that will be showing Blake's concert:

  • Champlin 15 Drive Inn in Champlin (about two hours northwest of Rochester, near Maple Grove)
  • Crossroads Cinema Pop-ups in St. Cloud (about two and hours northwest of Rochester)
  • Elko Drive-In Theater in Elko (a little over an hour and 10 minutes northwest of Rochester off I-35)
  • Verne Drive-In Theater in Luverne (about three hours west of Rochester along I-90)

Listen to Curt St. John from 6 to 10 a.m. on Quick Country 96.5
and from 2 to 6 p.m. on 103.9 The Doc
