Tuesday, March 7, is the 11th annual National Pancake Day and IHOP restaurants nationwide will offer each guest one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes in an effort to raise awareness and money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide.

This year, IHOP hopes to raise $3.5 million. To find a nearby IHOP restaurant or to donate online, visit ihoppancakeday.com. Also as stated in their news release, for every short stack of buttermilk pancakes served on National Pancake Day, guests are invited to make a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The nearest locations to Faribault and Owatonna are in Apple Valley, Burnsville and Bloomington. Check out ihop.com for complete location details.

  • Last year, pancake lovers donated nearly $3.5 million to children’s charities.
  • IHOP restaurants served nearly 6.6 million free pancakes on National Pancake Day 2016.
  • All of the pancakes served on National Pancake Day 2016 would have created a stack nearly 19 miles high.
