Goodbye 2018, Hello 2019
It seems like the end of a year is a time for reflection for a lot of people, what do we want to leave behind us, and what do we want to see happen in the new year? It's a time for beginning with a "fresh slate" however, even though it feels that way, January 1st is just a date on the calendar
I don't make resolutions anymore, I used to buy into the hype, but, they were always vague, ex., I'll get out of debt. No plans to make that happen, just that I am magically going to have all of my bills paid off. No wonder I failed at those kinds of resolutions.
That being said, I am planning to go into 2019 with an attitude adjustment. I will focus more on spending time with my friends and family, including calling my mom at least once a week. I will be present with my children, focusing on their conversations, the phone will be put down. I will focus more on self-care, sometimes a mom's needs have to come first.
Here's to 2019, may it be better than 2018.
