As we take a breath during this break in the high school sports season, let's salute the Owatonna High School athletes who received All-Conference recognition for the spring sports season.

More than 40 OHS student-athletes are mentioned on the Big Nine website for their all-conference efforts this spring. These students are also being recognized as H & R Block Stat Sheet Stuffers for their award-winning performances. While a couple of teams were senior-heavy with the all-conference picks, overall less than half of the OHS all-Big Nine selections are seniors.

The Huskies girls' lacrosse team won a share of the Big Nine title with Rochester John Marshall. OHS had six players earn conference honors. Owatonna will have a new coach next spring as Dan Paur stepped down after this season.
