The Steele County Historical Society will observe History Work November 5-10 with activities scheduled  during the 6 day observance.

Monday, November 5 between 1--11:30 AM stop by coffee and a 'behind the ropes' look at the History Center.

Tuesday at 10AM sit in on the Genealogy Club for free.

Wednesday at 2PM there will be an historic walking tour of Owatonna led by Nancy Vaillancourt. Just meet by the fountain in Central Park at 2PM.

The Historical Society will hold their annual meeting on Thursday, November 8 starting at 11:30AM. There will be lunch and the annual business meeting followed by a Fund-a-Need Campaign. Those who choose to make a contribution may designate what project they would like their donation to go.

The final two events are meals. It's Pasta with a Purpose on Friday night. Tickets for the meal which will be served starting at 5PM are on sale at the History Center, Tri M Graphics and Kottke Jewelers. You can purchase advance tickets at these same locations for the Pancakes and PS's which will be Saturday morning between 8-10AM at Applebee's in Owatonna.
