We're getting close to fair season in Minnesota, and the 2023 Steele County Free Fair is right around the corner August 15th through 20th, so get ready for all the rides we enjoy plus that good old tasty fair food.  

This year's fair will feature several new entertainers, along with some of the old favorites.

Returning to the fair this year is Jurassic Kingdom, bringing life size dinosaurs that you can can touch and interact with throughout the show.

The Steele County American Dairy Association brings the Southwest Mobile Dairy Classroom back this year, with an educational show ever day. The Mobile Dairy Classroom features a 32-foot classroom featuring a fully operational milking parlor. The classroom carries a live cow, milking equipment and highly trained instructor for the presentation.

Also returning this year is the ever popular All Star Stunt Dogs, as well as the Hot Glass Academy. This is a one of kind glassblowing demonstration that provides energetic and dynamic entertainment values through an art form that is over 3000 years old. Watch as they create beautiful pieces of art that will become part of the history of art. 

New to the fair this year are the High-Flying Pages. You will be on the edge of your seat as the Pages race motorcycles inside the confines of the globe of death. Watch the famous acrobats fly from the Russian Swing performing stunts in midair.  

Grandstand show tickets are on sale now, with Craig Morgan & Drake Milligan on stage Wednesday 8/16, Hairball on Thursday 8/22, Craig Morgan & Ashley Barron on Friday 8/18, Barrels & Bulls on the arena on Saturday 8/19, and the demolition derby on Sunday 8/20.
