Historical Society Looking for School Photos

The Steele County Historical Society is working on an upcoming exhibit focusing on Steele County schools. They are in need of school photos. They are especially interested in photos of the building exterior, classroom, and teachers. All photos will be of interest.

Just bring your photos to the Steele County History Center and sign a loan agreement. Your photos will be returned within 4 weeks.

While you're attending the Steele County Fair, don't forget the Village of Yesteryear stage. Entertainment begins Tuesday at 6pm with Abigail Hanson and Isabel Troe on the harp. Wednesday at 1pm it's Dave Williams followed by magician Dylan Weise at 4pm and then Dunnell Lenort at 6pm. Thursday, the OHS Jazz Combo leads off at 1pm followed by Jeff and Noelle Page at 4pm and Just Kidding at 6:30pm. Saturday the Lights of Litomysl will sing at 1pm followed by the barbershop sounds of the Lakelanders at 4pm and then Sunrise at 6pm.

There will be a worship service at 9:30am on Sunday with the Methodist Church Chorus at 1pm. Todd and Roger Uptadel will perform at 2pm followed by the OHS Drum Line at 3:30pm.
