Interesting headline, who might I be referring to? I was curious about this fellow who has been popping up everywhere the last few years. I did a little poking around and found that this now famous Minnesotan like so many other successful people had rough sledding in the beginning. He dropped out of college, lost jobs, failed at careers got divorced and became a crack addict. It's all different today for Mankato born Mike Lindell, the My Pillow founder. Read more about him here.

Here's a few more people we think of as successful today but they certainly didn't start out that way. Among those filing for bankruptcy include former President Harry S.Truman and Walt Disney.

Milton Hershey founded the Hershey candy company. It was his third try. The first two failed miserably.

Colonel Sanders of KFC fame's story is pretty well known. His wife took their child and walked out on him when he was just 20 years old. He lost numerous jobs and dropped out of school at age 13. He didn't find his success with Kentucky Fried Chicken till he was 65.

I guess the lesson to be learned is to never give up and keep plugging away. Maybe someday?
