Earlier this year, Sony was forced to slow production because of the worldwide chip shortage and now demand is growing as we get closer to Christmas.

The team at cnet.com put together a PS5 restock tracker along with some tips to help you find the PS5 before Christmas.

Their tips include:

  • Keep checking!
  • Refreshing a few times when you see an "out of stock" message. Cnet.com explains, "Some retailers release the consoles in waves to keep bots from getting all of them."
  • They also recommend having an account set up with your payment information saved so you don't waste valuable time during the check-out process. (It isn't yours until the payment is submitted - even if it's in your cart)

If you don't mind paying above the retail price, eBay is another option.
