The following lane closures and traffic stoppages planned for this week will be contingent upon the weather.

Crews will again attempt to set bridge beams on Highway 14 south of Owatonna which will result in traffic being stopped for around 15 minutes then allowed through and then stopped again till all 4 beams are set in place. The stoppages are planned for 8PM Tuesday, June 19 till 2AM on Wednesday, June 20. Then once again traffic will be stopped from 8PM Wednesday night till 2AM Thursday morning. The stoppages will be between County Road 45 and the Interstate.

Also this Tuesday motorists may encounter lane changes on I-35 south of Owatonna as crews are scheduled to pour the concrete bridge decks on the Steele County Road 18 bridge which spans the freeway. This will take place during daylights hours. This is also contingent on the weather cooperating.

Meanwhile lane closures and traffic delays can be expected through this Wednesday near milepost 30 on I-35 south of the Hope exit. MNDot is replacing sensors that record axle and gross vehicle weights.
