The City of Owatonna is asking for public input on their "Owatonna 2040 Transportation Plan".

Owatonna 2040 Transportation Plan will guide future development and transportation improvements in Owatonna for the next 20+ years. According to the plans website, "the Plan provides a frame-work for policy development and addresses both short and long term transportation needs". Done in coordination with Steele County, "the Plan will ensure policies and planning outcomes set guidances for managing the transportation system safely, efficiently and, effectively for the next 20+ years".

The Public is asked to give their feedback on the Plan and stay involved by doing the following:

  1. You can join an Online Open House, August 24th-September 4th by visiting Owatonna2040TranPlan.com/Public-Engagement/
  2. Share where you could see safety concerns or other opportunities by taking the project survey
  3. Learning more about the plan, schedule, and engagement opportunities by visiting the projects website, Owatonna2040TranPlan.com
