If you've recently started up or are planning to start a business that develops high-tech products or services in Minnesota, here's something that could help. The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development or DEED is accepting applications for interest-free loans.

These interest-free loans are for $20,000 to $50,000. If approved you will need to get a 1 to 1 match from another funder. The loan repayment window is four years with no payments needed in the first year.

You can find the form here. The application deadline is July 16, 2018.

These funds may be used for working capital, intellectual property development, proof of concept activities, commercialization planning, market feasibility students and and other startup activities approved by DEED.
