New DJ Alert: Introducing the One and Only Paisley Dunn!

Hello Friends,

My name is Paisley and I'm super excited to join you in the beautiful city of Owatonna. Okay... I never thought those words would come out of my mouth because I hate being cold and could do without snow! No, but really, I'm super excited to join the Kat Kountry team. You probably want to know a little bit more about me, so strap on your seatbelt friends because we are about ready to get deep and personal. Just kidding! I like to keep things light-hearted!

I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Colorado, which I miss dearly. I attended the University of Northern Colorado and received my degree in Broadcast Journalism. Let's just say when I found out I could get a degree in talking, I was all about that life! My dream was to become the next Erin Andrews, but a few closed doors made me realize that radio was where my heart is.

I got my start at a small television station in Casper, Wyoming where I covered everything from turkey's taking over the town to crazy snow storms. After a few months of that, I realized TV wasn't my place and set my heart on radio. Next thing I knew, I was moving to Burlington, Iowa for my very first radio job, and haven't looked back since. What do I love about radio?? I get to smile all the time and have as much fun as I want while putting a smile on your face. The question I get asked ALL the time is "How old are you/" Yes, I sound like I'm 12 years old, but I promise you my birth certificate says I'm 24! I've had it verified and everything!

Now that the boring stuff is out of the way, how about we get to the fun stuff. There are four things you need to know about Paisley and they all happen to start with a "C"! How funny is that?? So what are the four C's? They are Coffee, Cows, Country music and Cowboy boots. In that order! If I have those four things in my life, I'm doing well! I also really love sports, so I guess the apostrophe "S" stands for sports! Let's go with that!  There you go... Paisley in a nutshell!
