It Has Been More Than A Month Since This Minnesota Woman Has Been Seen
It's been more than a month since anyone has heard from or seen a Minnesota woman. This past Sunday night, a candlelight vigil was held by members of the community and those who have banded together online in an effort to find Jessica Marshik.
The vigil was slated to be held on Friday, January 14th, outside Jessica's apartment building, but the winter weather ended up moving the vigil to Sunday night. The vigil, which was held in an effort to keep Jessica's case in front of not only the media but those in the community, was a place where friends and family could gather and seek answers as to where their friend, sister, and daughter is.
Jessica hasn't been heard from or seen since December 14th, and when the family went to check on her a few days later, after not hearing from her, found her apartment door ajar, and her personal belongings all still inside. Her car was still parked nearby, and her keys were inside the apartment as well.
A page dedicated to finding Jessica on Facebook is often read by law enforcement investigating the disappearance and any relevant tips or information should be shared with the Minneapolis Police Department, Sergeant Hagen at julie.hagen@minneapolismn.gov or you can call them at (612) 673-5702.
